2016 Mercedes Benz GLE250d Test Drive & Visual Tour My turn to take the wheel at 2m49s. I had the chance to explore the 2016 Mercedes Benz GLE 250d 4MATIC. I would be showing you around reviewing the car in the first part of the video. As you can hear from the video, the road noise and diesel engine noise is quite intruding, a little too much for comfort compared to BMW diesels. But it's definitely a case of personal preference and road noise or roaring of diesel engine may or may not be a determining factor when purchasing a car. Power delivery wise, I understand that it is a 2143 cc powerhouse but it feels a tad bit underpowered. What I meant by that is that the 500Nm can't be justified by the driving experience in the GLE 250d. I have not had the chance to experience the Mercedes Benz GLE400 4MATIC, maybe that would fair better in driving experience?
