Festival of Angels is a true Christmas festival that transforms the streets of York, United Kingdom, into a truly festive venue with ice sculptures, Christmas stalls and street entertainment. The event is free and open to public and runs from 10am to 6pm on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday. The photos featured below were taken during the Festival of Angels on 16 December 2012. Information on the event for the coming 2013 year can be found @  Festival of Angels, York City of Festivals On my way to York on a very foggy morning. York Cathedral A beautiful 800 years old city Baileys straight into a cup through a ice tube and that cup costs £3.00  I like this sculpture the most. Although only a few photos of the event were featured in this post, I hope you like it and if you have a chance next year, do make your way down to York to experience it. Cheers.

Bonfire Night 2012, Stockton-On-Tees, United Kingdom

Image
Bonfire Night was the result of the 'Gunpowder Plot' that is a conspiracy to blow up the Houses of Parliament on 5 November 1605, however the plot was discovered the night before. For more information about the 'Gunpowder Plot', please visit  Frequently Asked Questions: The Gunpowder Plot Below are some of the photos I took during the night in Stockton, please pardon the photo quality, I wasn't at a very nice spot. The theme for the fireworks this year is James Bond. Cheers. Stockton bridge It wasn't a synchronised fireworks show but it was one of the longest fireworks display I've seen.
