What to Eat in Taman Segar, Cheras. - Poppo Kanteen

Image
If you're bored and have no idea where to go to tonight, and with the horrendous traffic in Cheras that makes you feel reluctant to go somewhere further to treat your hunger (if you live in Cheras ofc), head over to Poppo Kanteen. Also, if you're a Nasi Lemak lover then you're in luck.  Not sure how legit this is but I heard the owner was/is a canteen operator in johor who then decided to open a restaurant. Btw, the moment you see your food that's when you really feel like you're eating in a canteen by the way the food is served.  Getting straight to the point, featured in the photo below is their Nasi Lemak, served with half a piece of fried hard boiled egg, a small piece of prawn cracker, sliced of cucumbers, a piece of fried chicken which turns out to be quite a decent size, and the main ingredient of nasi lemak,  the sambal! The rice itself was Awesome, one word is all i need to describe it. It was very fragrant, better than many other nasi lemak I had. Coming t...

What To Eat In Klang - Restoran Nyonya Kitchen [Food Post w/ Pic]

If you are in Klang but you are bored of the usual idea of going for Klang Bak Kut Teh (pun). You may want to give Restoran Nyonya Kitchen a try. By the way this is a halal restaurant. Their Klang branch is situated at :  Nyonya Kitchen & Caterers 220 - 222, Jalan Batu Unjur 7, Taman Bayu Perdana, 41200 Klang Tel: 603-3324 1151 / 1190 Let's get on with the food. I ordered their Geram Assam Senangin, Sambal Sotong, Ayam Goreng Berempah and Inchi Kabin. Everything above was delicious except for the Inchi Kabin, I've surely had better ones. We even had a second serving of Sambal Sotong. I wanted to order the Sambal Prawn but it costs RM20+ for a small portion. Anyways with such mouth watering nyonya dishes, who could resist not having more rice. That's totally fine as they allow unlimited refill of rice upon request.  Price :The average price of dishes here range from RM10+ to RM20+. The senangin (fish) was at RM6.50 per 100 gram. Let's get ...

What To Eat In Termeloh - Restoran Meng Kok Ria [Food Post w/ Pic]

Restoran Meng Kok Ria Address:  No. F-169, Jalan Selayang, Pahang, 28000 Termeloh Coordinates :  3.4445611, 102.41523610000002 If you're in Termeloh and starving or you're just up for a quick bite, head down to Restoran Meng Kok Ria. Take note that they do get a little crowded during usual meal hours. I won't go on boasting on how good the food and whatnot because to be honest I did not try out every dish they had to offer, but this not-so-exposed restaurant (situated on what seems to be more like a back lane) does have its own specialty. Let's get to the photos of the dishes I had, shall we. I was with one other person hence we only ordered 3 dishes. Fried Pork Belly Slices with Dark Soy Sauce 香茅蒸非州鱼. Steamed Tilapia with Lemon Grass. As far as I know this dish is one of the more popular dishes here amongst the locals unless you got to know it from a blog, like in here. It certainly is a 'taste-changer', not a common cooking-style I...
