Tanjung Tualang, now a place commercially known as a destination for people looking to who comes for udang galah, aka 生虾, aka 大头虾. Restaurant in name: Lung Seng Seafood Restaurant 10 Jalan Besar, Tanjung Tualang, Perak. Tel: 05-360 0735 Business hours: 11.30am–9.00pm Like many others I was here just to have a meal to see what's all the fuss about. We initially wanted to go to another restaurant called 东海, which according to my local friend was the best, but it was packed. So she made a quick reservation at Restoran Lung Seng instead which the food was more or less comparable. Let's get on with the photos, shall we. Steamed udang galah Stir fried crab with salted egg Rojak  Sotong. Not something extraordinary but the rojak gravy is quite tasty. Steamed Baung. I wouldn't recommend this dish out of all that I had simply because it had the muddy-ish taste plus it was o...

What To Eat In Klang - Restoran Nyonya Kitchen [Food Post w/ Pic]

If you are in Klang but you are bored of the usual idea of going for Klang Bak Kut Teh (pun). You may want to give Restoran Nyonya Kitchen a try. By the way this is a halal restaurant. Their Klang branch is situated at :  Nyonya Kitchen & Caterers 220 - 222, Jalan Batu Unjur 7, Taman Bayu Perdana, 41200 Klang Tel: 603-3324 1151 / 1190 Let's get on with the food. I ordered their Geram Assam Senangin, Sambal Sotong, Ayam Goreng Berempah and Inchi Kabin. Everything above was delicious except for the Inchi Kabin, I've surely had better ones. We even had a second serving of Sambal Sotong. I wanted to order the Sambal Prawn but it costs RM20+ for a small portion. Anyways with such mouth watering nyonya dishes, who could resist not having more rice. That's totally fine as they allow unlimited refill of rice upon request.  Price :The average price of dishes here range from RM10+ to RM20+. The senangin (fish) was at RM6.50 per 100 gram. Let's get ...

What To Eat In Termeloh - Restoran Meng Kok Ria [Food Post w/ Pic]

Restoran Meng Kok Ria Address:  No. F-169, Jalan Selayang, Pahang, 28000 Termeloh Coordinates :  3.4445611, 102.41523610000002 If you're in Termeloh and starving or you're just up for a quick bite, head down to Restoran Meng Kok Ria. Take note that they do get a little crowded during usual meal hours. I won't go on boasting on how good the food and whatnot because to be honest I did not try out every dish they had to offer, but this not-so-exposed restaurant (situated on what seems to be more like a back lane) does have its own specialty. Let's get to the photos of the dishes I had, shall we. I was with one other person hence we only ordered 3 dishes. Fried Pork Belly Slices with Dark Soy Sauce 香茅蒸非州鱼. Steamed Tilapia with Lemon Grass. As far as I know this dish is one of the more popular dishes here amongst the locals unless you got to know it from a blog, like in here. It certainly is a 'taste-changer', not a common cooking-style I...
