What To Eat In Tanjung Tualang - Restoran Lung Seng (龙城(冷气)海鲜酒楼) [Food Post w/ Pic]

Tanjung Tualang, now a place commercially known as a destination for people looking to who comes for udang galah, aka 生虾, aka 大头虾.

Like many others I was here just to have a meal to see what's all the fuss about. We initially wanted to go to another restaurant called 东海, which according to my local friend was the best, but it was packed. So she made a quick reservation at Restoran Lung Seng instead which the food was more or less comparable.

Steamed udang galah

Stir fried crab with salted egg

Rojak  Sotong. Not something extraordinary but the rojak gravy is quite tasty.

Steamed Baung. I wouldn't recommend this dish out of all that I had simply because it had the muddy-ish taste plus it was overcooked. I suppose fish isn't their strong point.

Another dish that we had was Stir fried paku vege with sambal. That was alright.

Price wise, if you're not expecting a bill that amount to hundreds with these dishes then this place may not suit you. Like mentioned above, Tanjung Tualang is commercially known for udang galah, which should give you the idea that it's not a cheap place.
