18-seater Placer X Van HD POV Drive

Today I'll be taking the Placer X 18-seater Chinese-built van on a short drive. Power delivery isn't bad at all for a van that is at least 16-foot long but the cabin refinement requires improvement as there are some gaps and slits among the dashboard fittings which are visible. Overall it is a very functional commercial van with decent power.






The Numbers:
1) 2.5 liter turbodiesel engine 5 speed manual transmission
2) 113 horsepower@ 3800rpm, 260Nm @1800-2600rpm
3) Suspension consist of front double wishbone independent suspension, Rear variable rate leaf spring
4) 70-litre fuel tank

2016 All-New BMW X5 xDrive40e Plug-in Hybrid Quick Walkaround Tour! The x5 xdrive40e featured here comes with BMW M Sport equipment. Among them are the bumper, 19" wheel and M Sport rims, steering, M door sills etc. One of the most important stat that people would like to know about this plug-in hybrid X5 is the fuel consumption which BMW claims on paper a whopping 3.3l/100km. As a plug-in hybrid, you may toggle the edrive button which can be seen in the video to alternate 3 power modes which are MAX eDRIVE(Constant power from both engine and battery pack ) / AUTO eDRIVE (The car's computer will decide where power comes from either the engine or battery pack or both based on your driving style) / SAVE EDRIVE ( Full electric mode aka stealth). These 3 modes shouldn't be confused with the Sport, Comfort & Eco modes.
